INTERCEPT is the most widely used pathogen inactivation system capable of treating both platelets and plasma components on a single platform. Since its introduction in 2002, implementation of the INTERCEPT Blood System has continued to expand throughout Europe and the Middle East.

• INTERCEPT is proven in routine use in over 90 blood centers in 15 countries
• Clinical studies or evaluations are in process in several additional centers and countries across the globe
• > 1,000,000 INTERCEPT units produced
• > 60,000 INTERCEPT transfusions have been monitored in the ongoing hemovigilance program
