The treated platelets and plasma are transferred by gravity flow into containers designed for conventional storage. The treated units are ready for use and can be transfused or stored according to current blood banking standards.

Treated platelets and plasma are ready for use. After transfer to the storage container(s), the used CAD container is sealed off and discarded. Treated products may be stored and transfused according local requirements for conventional platelets and plasma. |
